Layers... Is there a default layer that the watch/warnings are drawn too?

I think part of the problem is layers.  You might want to tweak the layer
numbers around.  It could be that one of your layers is obscuring the maps
of the others.  I recall having this problem before but I don't remember the
resolution and, at the moment, my Xastir machine is not running.  The choice
of server won't matter at all.
