The only concern I'd have is: What OS'es are supported by VirtualBox? Do they support OSX? I know there's already an OSX Xastir binary with the latest goodies, but perhaps some would prefer running a virtual machine? Don't really know. Last I knew VMWare supported more platforms, but it's been a while since I looked.
