Considering that these ImageMagick issues keep happening (happened to me
too), maybe we should remove support for ImageMagick and make
GraphicMagick the required one?

ImageMagick version 6.8.6.3. I'll try to recompile with GraphicsMagick support
and see if that fixes the problem.
Recompiling with GraphicMagick support (instead of ImageMagick) has fixed the
problem. I've opened a bug in Fedora[0] in hopes of getting this changed in
the repos.
