See al of those things like <UI R> and <UI>? That means you have something in your TNC initialization wrong, and it's sending the data in a format that Xastir doesn't actually recognize. I know I've seen this before but can't for the life of me remember what the setting actually is that makes this happen. I think it might be the difference between having MCOM on and off.
