Thanks. I got a reply that directed me to a website with a binary of version 2.0.5 which worked great!

I am having a problem that Xastir does not put my TNC into host mode on launch, but I am currently learning about scripts to try having one run before launching.

Perhaps you might receive some answers from people on this now. I
personally don't run it on a Pi, but probably should try it as I have
a couple of Pi's in my hands. Version 2.0.0 is VERY old (2012-11-01).
Ideally you'd want version 2.0.6 (latest stable) or 2.0.7 (latest
development) version.

Hello to the group. I am a noobie to Xastir, Linux & RPi and have quite a few
questions about Xastir, but I will start with this one:

What is the lastest version of Xastir that I can put on a Raspberry Pi? When I
install out of repository, it is version 2.0.0 When I tried to install latest
version by manually compiling?, all the components needed did not show up in
the repositories.

If a newer version can be ran on a RPi, could someone direct me to some
detailed instructions on how to do it?

I do have the 2.0.0 version running on my RPi, but thought a newer version
would be better.

Thanks,
Kevin
