Thanks to Lee, K5DAT, who did the heavy lifting and testing of the new data sources, I have committed changes in CVS to support two new map sources now that we have deleted so many non-functional ones.
"OSM_tiled_mapquest" is the mapquest rendering of OSM data. "OSM_tiled_mapquest-aerial" is aerial photography of about the resolution that terraserver used to provide. That is, relatively low-res, about a meter per pixel. Not Google Earth quality, but then, also not encumbered by Google Earth's terms of use, and perfectly adequate for APRS use. This now gives us five working on-line sources, although "OSM_tiled_cycle" still doesn't work for me even though many here have said it works for them. All of those that users have communicated to me as non-functional have been removed. -- Tom Russo KM5VY SAR502 DM64ux http://www.swcp.com/~russo/ Tijeras, NM QRPL#1592 K2#398 SOC#236 http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?DDTNM echo "prpv_a'rfg_cnf_har_cvcr" | sed -e 's/_/ /g' | tr [a-m][n-z] [n-z][a-m] _______________________________________________ Xastir mailing list [email protected] http://xastir.org/mailman/listinfo/xastir
