That's an understatement.  :/

If you don't have xfontsel but are in a bind, look for a 3 digit number (toward 
the right end of the string iirc). This is the font size in tenths of a point - 
e.g. a 180 means 18pt font. 

Be aware some fonts don't scale so well, so a 24pt may look good and a 26 look 
rough. Xfontsel will give you the as-designed sizes. anything between is 
scaled, which can get ugly for raster fonts.
