Very simple, really. Just a matter of making sure you have the various packages installed first. Look at the xastir wiki and see if there's a "HowTo" or "Installation Notes" for your system. Once you're set up to build on your system, keeping up to date is extraordinarily simple (and not just because there isn't much development going on these days). > > On Jun 6, 2015, at 10:59 AM, Tom Russo <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > On Sat, Jun 06, 2015 at 05:06:49PM +1000, we recorded a bogon-computron > > collision of the <[email protected]> flavor, containing: > >> Jason KG4WSV wrote: > >>> > >>>> On Jun 5, 2015, at 5:19 PM, Liz <[email protected]> wrote: > >>>> > >>>> x11-utils is installed > >>>> and contains > >>>> /etc/X11/app-defaults/XFontSel > >>> > >>> That's probably a config file with default settings for xfontsel, not > >> the executable itself. > >>> > >>> -j > >> OK, which xfontsel gives me /usr/bin/xfontsel, but not recognised by > >> Xastir. > > > > Xastir will not detect it at run time, it has to be detected at > > configure/build > > time.
