There are many pages that are just version-specific deltas off of an old Debian install HowTo, including all the Ubuntu version-specific pages. I am not entirely surprised that this propagated. Unfortunately, the habit of making version-specific HowTos and not distro-specific HowTos with version-specific sections started very early in the wiki history, and stuck. I did a bunch of that, too. From one release of a distro to the next, the only thing that usually changes is the name of packages to add. Fixing that proliferation of unnecessary duplication would be like work. -- Tom Russo KM5VY SAR502 DM64ux http://www.swcp.com/~russo/ Tijeras, NM QRPL#1592 K2#398 SOC#236 http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?DDTNM echo "prpv_a'rfg_cnf_har_cvcr" | sed -e 's/_/ /g' | tr [a-m][n-z] [n-z][a-m] _______________________________________________ Xastir mailing list Xastir@lists.xastir.org http://xastir.org/mailman/listinfo/xastir
