It was an add in for uiview called nwsget. What it did was overlayed the nws radar image on the uiview map, providing that you were using mapping software from precision mapping. Which I was. The nws enable feature is turned on and I was viewing the alerts on the map when we had severe storms come thru on Friday. The nws url was changed and now that add on is useless. ChrisVe3zo

Please define what the term "NWS radar" means to you, with respect to what it did in UIView. In Xastir we have the counties/areas affected light up as an overlay which can be turned off/on: Map -> Enable Weather Alerts If you're looking specifically for weather radar, there are other options but I'm not sure I have those set up right now so others may be better at answering that question. I believe the ones I used to have set up may no longer be available. -- Curt, WE7U. http://we7u.wetnet.net APRS: Where it's at! http://www.xastir.org _______________________________________________ Xastir mailing list [email protected] http://xastir.org/mailman/listinfo/xastir _______________________________________________ Xastir mailing list [email protected] http://xastir.org/mailman/listinfo/xastir
