This sort of reminds me of Xbox on Linux to run WinDoze.
These two programs are kind of Wonky but I have them running on a Nexus 7 2013
LTE.Trouble is I need to increase the size of the lower taskbar and get the
Synaptic packagemanager to work. I think I can get my scripts in and maps for
Xastir. I have some control issues like keyboard and mouse to sort out too.
Cripes, just got itgoing last night.
I'm not sure if I can get my Bluetooth devices to be recognized on the Debian
versionthat runs on top of Lollipop 6.0.1 so Xastir could use the NMEA
datastreams (or any datastream for that matter)
So, I thought I'd take a shot and if anyone has any pointers they can direct
meto I be much obliged.
If the program is so rough that Xastir can't work on it to any effect I'd
beable to not waste my time on it.

Any further progress?

I tried a bit during lunch-time. The default DNS servers in GNUroot don't work for me
here so I added different ones to /etc/resolv.conf but still can't get "apt-get
update" to work.

Have tried both GNUroot Debian and GNUroot, the latter with the Wheezy image.

I have a N7(2013) LTE with a Google Fi SIM card so should be able to duplicate
what you've done so far. I'll be at a ham conference tomorrow and it would be
cool to show off to a few people there if I could get it running by tonight.
