That's a grey area, and really one that I would prefer not to explore.
What you're asking is "can I submit a skin that is capable of
automatically downloading explicitly illegal/undistributable fonts?".

The fundamental idea behind skins in the official repository is that
they work out of the box. If there is an ugly font there by default,
meant only as a place-holder, I would say that idea is not being
upheld.

In my opinion, a better use of our resources would be to start a free
fonts campaign. Don't underestimate the size and ability of the xbmc
community. I would be happy to do a post on xbmc.org detailing what is
needed, how to help, and what the result would be. I'm willing to bet
that some good fonts could come out of such a project (something along
the lines of the android fonts). This could benefit far more than
XBMC.
