This is the initial release of this. As far as I know it doesn't violate
the DMCA - the Escapist website says that they don't support standalone
players, and if you're having issues playing the videos they suggest not
using them - but they don't say "we forbid it".
My logo.png and fanart.jpg are both based on official Escapist images, just
cropped (by me, a graphics amateur) to fit the image guidelines.
Do note that, while with their current code there are no issues - but during
testing I was getting IP banned (for several hours per offense) from
watching their videos until I got the code worked out to mimic a browser
completely. I'm intending on adding a proxy option to prevent that - but as
it stands, if they change their code to use some sort of clientside
(Javascript or Flash) browser detection that posts back to the server to
validate the client, we're in trouble. However - I don't expect that to
happen, because the Plex guys have had this plugin working for ages and the
site has not been configured to do that.
