Hi,
While we've been working on new improvements to the plugin, YouTube made a
number of changes in their api and website which broke a number of scrapers
and more importantly user login. This version should increase stability of
most user related functions by converting these to the new api feeds
available from google. The plugin also introduces two new dependencies, a
new custom scraper framework that's more versatile than our current
solutions, and a new caching service that allows us to reduce the traffic
from each individual client to google (Note: I've choose to bundle the
request for these dependencies with this one, if this is wrong just say so
and i will send individual pull request for each).
Also new in this version is a lot of work we've done behind the scenes to
improve the plugin stability. We now have an automated integration test
suite that verifies most of the plugin nightly, for those interested this

We've also switched our repository to Mercurial since Google's servers kept
acting up, so I'm a bit unsure of url's needed (Note: each repository has a
release branch that contains only the files necessary for the plugin to
work in xbmc.)
