Thanks. What should I do with permissions in order to make files compliant? I have changed all file permissions and of a ZIP file to 777 before uploading. I suppose it could be done in OS X terminal in a similar way you're doing it on Linux.
For someone that knows nothing about VCS management it is hard to see benefits. I suppose you felt in similar way before becoming VCS maestro?
