I'd like to use PyAMF in one of my plugins, but it doesn't seem to be
available in the official repos. I also noticed that a few other plugins
use PyAMF as well, and they all have the PyAMF files within their plugin
folder. PyAMF is about 1MB in size (500K compressed), and so a single
module download that can be added as a dependency for multiple plugins
seems to make sense.

I talked to the PyAMF guys on IRC the other day and they said they'd be
happy to have PyAMF packaged. Also, it's under an MIT license which is very
flexible.

The version I've packaged is the latest (0.6.1), with a fix as mentioned on
the XBMC forums:

http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=119551&page=5

If it makes sense to have a member of the core XBMC team look after this
package (rather than have it taken from my GitHub account) I'd be happy
with that, but I plan to keep my version up to date with the latest PyAMF
releases.

Cheers!

mark.
