Your response refers to the structure, but the changes you want don't affect
the structure. It's "x.y" in Eden and "x.y.z", both before and after the
changes.
Eden, changed xbmc.python from "1.0" to "2.0"
Frodo, changed xbmc.python from "1.0.0" to "2.1.0"

Correct. We changed policy about that couple of months ago to more structure in
addon versioning.
we require to have a x.y.z versioning scheme so all is better controller in
the near future.
in the past it was just a mix of several schemes that really started to bite us
back.
