perfect! all fixed indeed.
i came across 2 other issues though:
1) custom windows don't need to be defined in includes.xml
this results in errors like these: ERROR: Skin includes must start with
the <includes> tag
so remove these 4 lines and you'll be fine:
<include file="custom_HomeDialogPopup_1115.xml" />
<include file="custom_Welcome_Screen_1125.xml" />
<include file="Custom_Welcome_Screen_Close_Popup.xml" />
<include file="custom_TVDelete_1127.xml" />
2) in addon.xml, please replace:
<extension
point="xbmc.gui.skin"
defaultresolution="720p"
defaultresolutionwide="720p"
defaultthemename="Textures.xbt"
effectslowdown="1.0"
debugging="false"/>
with:
<extension point="xbmc.gui.skin" defaultthemename="Textures.xbt"
effectslowdown="1.0" debugging="false">
<res width="1280" height="720" aspect="16:9" default="true"
folder="720p"/>
</extension>
while the first way is still supported by xbmc, it leads to the issue of
your skin settings being inaccessible from
settings > appearance > skin > - settings
