These questions are probably raised once in a while, however I was not able to
find answers so I'm raising them again:
Are there any key metrics how popular xbmc is?
i.e. how many active daily users? Download figures? Recent estimates?
I saw http://xbmc.org/xbmc-statistics/, but these numbers are from 2011.
Are there more recent numbers?
Are there any numbers how popular an add-on is?
I noticed that the most popular add-ons (e.g.
http://addons.xbmc.org/show/metadata.themoviedb.org/) have download numbers. Is
it possible to see download numbers of not-so-popular add-ons as well?
Some transparency on these numbers would help us secure the funding for further
add-on development.
