Webinterfaces don't need a gui dependency. Just leave it out.

Hi Montellese,

No problems at all, gave me time to polish things a bit more.

Glad you like it :)

I have update all points mentioned and rounded the version up.

On the last point (xbmc.gui requirement) I have had a few reports of people
getting "dependency not met" errors in gotham builds when installing. Thats
why I removed it in the first place, and the thought maybe the gui isn't
really a requirement for such an addon. Apparently adding <import
addon="xbmc.gui" version="5.0.1"/> makes it work in gotham, but I don't want
to have the same problem with frodo, is there any fix to that?

PS thanks for all the work on the api, it rocks!

Cheers

Jeremy

Hey Jeremy

First of all sorry for taking so long but my time for xbmc is a bit limited
right now.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your webinterface to the official
repository. I’ve already taken a look at it before and I really like it.

There are a few things that need adjusting before your webinterface can be
added to the official repository though:

· The license file must be named LICENSE.txt (uppercase)

· The addon icon must be 256x256 pixels

· You are missing a fanart.jpg image of size 1280x720 or 1920x1080
pixels

· It would be nice if you could add a few screenshots of your
webinterface. They go into a “screenshots” folder and should be named
“screenshot001.jpg” and so on.

· You need to add <import addon="xbmc.gui" version="4.0.0"/> to the
<requires> section of your addon.xml

Let me know when you’ve made the necessary changes and I’ll be happy to add
your webinterface to the official repository. If you have any questions
concerning the points listed above don’t hesitate to contact me.

Best regards

Montellese

Just wanted submit my web interface to the xbmc repo.

The git project contains the src, dist and a ready to install zip file. To
install, you only need the zip.

Thanks,
