OK. From the comments it seems this is a fix for running pydev under
cygwin. I think it's a small number of people that will be debugging
XBMC under cygwin so I've scooped the files out. In fact it would
probably never get hit anyway, given this code is just a subset of the
total pydev code.

Tested in linux + win 7. Not confirmed broken under cygwin.
