In general, I have no problem with things like that.
But it already caused a lot of trouble. First, he used exactly the same ID style, so my (working) addons got overwritten. After talking to him several times, he agreed to use his own IDs - but it's still confusing for the community. For example, I don't use single release threads for most of my addons. Now, people using my addons, think that the new threads belong to my addons, except they belong to his ones. Just confusing...

Last months, I stopped updating to the official repo because I was just too lacy ;) I needed an own repo for quick testing and some addons, that where not allowed in the xbmc.org repo (for example NetfliXBMC). So, being lacy, I began to just publish everything to my own repo. I'll now restart to update/publish most of my addons to the xbmc.org repo as I did before. Of course, some few (special) addons are not allowed and will remain in my repo...

Greetings & have a nice weekend :)

Hi,

May I ask what your view is on this?
Since you are the original dev of a lot of these addons. Are you willing to update these to our repo or are you only keeping them in your repo?

We don't want to step on any ones feet. I don't follow your individual repo so don't know what is happening there. Please let me know how and what needs to happen. Hopefully you will keep updating your addons in our repo as well :)

Martijn Kaijser

There is already a working NOW addon for all 6 RTL channels
available via my repo. You (bromix) should now that, because you
copy/pasted the playback code from my addon.
Same for break, dmax and tlc...

These are 3 addons for the RTL Interactive television channels
VOX, RTL and RTL II, so I summarize this in one email.

    *xbmc version - frodo/gotham

    *addon - plugin.video.bromix.vox_now
    *version - 1.0.2
    *url - _https://github.com/bromix/plugin.video.bromix.vox_now_

    *branch - master
    *xbmc version - frodo/gotham

Each addon includes the ability to have their own login (that
what RTL interactive does exactly), so I wrote 3 separate addons.
I hope this is okay :)
