Betreff: [XBoard-devel] XBoard developer news

Hi, folks. A little good news for you.

* Wilkin Ng has completed the process to file paperwork with FSF disclaiming
copyright on his changes to XBoard/WinBoard. This makes his contribution
public domain and means that we can use it in the official release without
any worries. (We usually ask people to assign copyright in their
contributions to the FSF, but Wilkin preferred to make his public domain
instead.)

Daniel had already merged Wilkin's changes into his development version, so
it would have been a problem if we hadn't been able to get Wilkin to take
care of the paperwork to formally grant permission.

* Stellios Keskinidis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> has joined our Savannah
project (as well as this mailing list), and has started the process to
assign copyright in his changes to the FSF.

See http://members.optushome.com.au/stelliosk/xboard/ for info on what
Stellios has done.
