Hi after H.G. managed to merge his version (including Alessandro's changes) with the CVS version, I managed to make some progress on the linux side: I updated the autotools files and got it to compile on linux (opensuse 11.1) (via ./autogen.sh; ./configure; make)
I also have all changes in a git repository (not yet in CVS on Savannah, since we are waiting for the paperwork stuff to be completed first). There is still quite a bit of work to do, e.g. I know of at least one segfault, also updating the documentation will be a bigger job ;) Anyway, I thought I let you guys know what's happening in case you want to try it out. The git repository is at: http://nubati.net/cgi-bin/cgit.cgi/xboard/ Also have rpm's on the opensuse build-server at: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/apersaud/ I'll be testing it on FICS from now on, would be good if we can get some more testers ;) cheers ARUN _______________________________________________ XBoard-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/xboard-devel
