It seems that the "DWORD GetVersion(void)" call would do the trick, except 
that it is no longer documenting what the major and minor version numbers 
for Win 9x are.

Am I understanding correctly that Win95 can be recognized from 
(majorVerionNr == 4 && minorVersionNr < 10) ?
