I use xboard to play both Shogi and Xianqui (thanks). I have some problems (keep loosing!(VBG)) and wonder if there is a users group as opposed to a developers group.
I'm not aware of a user group, sorry... There are the winboard forums, but I think they also focus more on the programming part of winboard and of chess engines...
