I'm all for that... I would suggest that, if we can, we use names and order of items from http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/menus-standard.html.en That is: File, Edit, View,..., Windows, Help Windows might be a useful additions, since we now have quite a few of them and perhaps at one point XBoard will learn how to open new games in a new window? > I am not sure if the items Load Next/Previous Game/Position in the > 'File' menu > are still useful now that there is a Game List.
