Can anyone tell me their techniques for using rotobrushes or where I can find some information on which brushes to use in certain conditions? I have the Red Creek double handle and the following Solda brushes: #2 Medium soft black nylon, 7 mm x 0.2 mm bristle #5 Medium white nylon, 4 mm x 0.12 mm bristle #7 Hard brown horsehair, 6 mm x 0.25 mm bristle The Nordic Equipment catalog suggests the following: #7 followed by #5 for hard (cold) glide wax #2 followed by #5 for soft (warm) glide wax #5 for fluorocarbons Some parts of this don't make sense to me. For example, I would expect to use a soft brush (#2) AFTER a harder brush (#5) for warm wax, not the opposite order they suggest. Specific questions: 1) Where do you draw the line between "cold" and "warm" wax (i.e. temperature)? 2) Do I need another set of separate brushes just for fluorocarbons? Anyone willing to share all their rotobrushing secrets? Thanks, Craig -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- * Craig A.
