Hello everyone, This weekend is our big gathering at Telemark Lodge near Cable, WI. The following cross country ski clubs will be represented. North Star Ski Club - Twin Cities - 81 people Nordic Ski Club of Milwaukee - 53 people Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota - St. Cloud - 16 people Wausau Nordic Ski Club - 10 people Madnorski - Madison,WI - 10+? Ron Bergin from www.norwiski.com and from the Cable area will be meeting us at Telemark. Ron and I have talked about trying to form a regional organization of cross country skiers to keep the sport strong, lobby for xc skiing, and share ideas and goals. There are a number of other skiers that will be in the area next weekend. If you are in the area, stop in and say hi! Friday the 26th, we will have a social hour starting at 8:00 in the big fireplace area at Telemark. Saturday we will be skiing and Saturday evening we will have an all club banquet at 7:00pm with dinner, door prizes, announcements from each club and socializing. Sunday is skiing and the trip home. I was in Seeley last weekend for the classic race and the conditions on the Birkie trail were excellent. The weather this weekend is supposed to stay seasonal, so the trail should continue to be in great shape. Good Luck to all of you Noquemanon skiers this weekend!
