Hi gang.
January 2001 gave Madison, WI a pathetic 1.6 inches of snow for the
entire month. January 2001 was the 4th *least snowiest* January
in history (only a trace of snow fell in January 1903).
This, after our record-setting 35 inches during the month of
December 2000. Weird.
As much as we can trust long-range forecasts, things are beginning
to look up, however. Maybe a snow event this coming weekend, and
perhaps another toward the middle to end of next week.
I think we deserve a snowy February, dammit...
