Bluehills Trail Update...
The entire trail system was groomed Friday, January 26 for both skating
and striding. The skating lane was touched-up Saturday morning, January
27 -- and most of the EastSideTrail skating lane was touched-up again
Wednesday, January 31. Heavy, wet snows on Monday/Tuesday did not
adversely affect the trail -- very good skating and striding conditions
were present today (Thursday, February 1) under sunny skies with
temperatures in the single digits. Slightly icy conditions near the
warming house steadily improved the further I skied from the trailhead.
Lovely icy, snow frosted trees today -- this winter wonderland may last
into the weekend.
