UPDATE: Swix/Subaru Factory Team Training and Equipment Clinic Hosted by Wheel and Sprocket Ski Team Due to the cancellation of the FIS portion of the NorAm Races at Telemark Resort this weekend, Swix/Subaru Factory team members scheduled to attend the Wheel and Sprocket training and equipment clinic will not be available. Team members David Chamberlain, David Stewart and wax technician Bjorn Weisheit have cancelled their trip to Telemark, which means they will also not be making the trip to Milwaukee for the Wheel and Sprocket clinic. The Wheel and Sprocket Ski Team will STILL be holding a clinic on Sunday, December 16 at the Brookfield Wheel and Sprocket (13925 West Capitol Drive), beginning at 7 p.m. There will be waxing and equipment demonstrations by Wheel and Sprocket team coaches Cindy Swift and Ben Lund (and other members of the Wheel and Sprocket ski team), as well as opportunities to visit with other cross country skiing enthusiasts. We hope everyone will still attend this jam-packed clinic. And, for your opportunity to meet and greet current and former world-class athletes, come to the Brookfield Wheel and Sprocket on Wednesday, December 19. Former Tour de France champion Greg Lemond, along with former U.S. Postal Service team member (and nine-time Tour de France competitor) Frankie Andreu and current Saturn team member Frank McCormack will be at the store to meet with fans, sign autographs, and talk about life as a professional cyclist.
