CROSS COUNTRY SKI TRAIL REPORT
December 21, 2001
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Seasonably cold temperatures. 4 to 6 inches of snow predicted across the region starting Sat. AM and continuing through Sunday and possibly into Monday.
ABR Trails in Ironwood reports having received 3" of snow on Wed. night. It was packed on solidly frozen ground, but was not reported as sufficient base yet for skiing.
Other trails in the region remain closed due to insufficient snow, but it looks like that might change soon.
If you're looking for a change of pace, there's a big Sno Cross Snowmobile event at Telemark this weekend.
It looks like winter is almost here.
