Snow & Trail Conditions
at The Telemark Lodge

Hours: 9 am to 4 pm.
Approximately 48 KM of
the Telemark/North End/Kortelopet 65 KM trail system have been groomed for
skating. This includes the Birkebeiner Loops, Tony Wise Trail, John Bauer
Trail (to Kortelopet split), Kortelopet Trail (rolled from start to 9 KM),
North End Trail, Bill Koch Trail on the south side of Mt. Telemark, Sven Wiik
and Caldwell World Cup trails.
Classical tracks have been set on the
Birkie Loops and the Kortelopet Trail from 14 KM to 23 KM. Tracks are a thin
in spots but very good in many sections.
The trail snow base is thin.
The trails are in fair to good condition and skiable throughout.
The
Tubing Slope and Snowboarding Slope are open. The Snowshoe Trails
are open.
Telemark is open for recreation, lodging and dining seven
days a week. Normally, hours for cross country skiing are 9 am to 4 pm, 7
days a week and hours for tubing are 9 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week.
Snowmobile Conditions
We currently have about 8 – 10” of snow on the ground, but
have not received any significant snow since our last report.
There is snow on most of the Cable area trails, but not
enough to start grooming. Forest
roads offer some good riding opportunities. Please note that the are lakes are not
safe to ride on yet.
