Hi, This is your friendly neighborhood list admin. The question of condition reports has been raised again and I think it's good for us to visit this at least once each season so here goes.
As recorded in the archives, this list received 17 condition reports during the last 12 days of December. The source and ranked frequency of these reports is as follows: Telemark 6 6/week (was blocked for a week) Blue Hills 4 2/week Trail Mail 4 2/week (review of conditions state wide) Winter Park 2 1/week State of WI 1 infrequent Beginning on Friday, we expect to get reports from Governor Dodge State Park (2/week). As XC list members we decide which (if any) condition reports the list will accept. We do this by voting on a list of preferences. I request that you please reply only to me and that you select one from the following list of preferences: 1. I don't want to get any xc condition reports from the XC list. 2. I want to get Trail Mail but nothing else. 3. I want to get Trail Mail plus reports from areas of the state that are not covered in the Trail Mail report. 4. I want condition reports from sources that typically send two or fewer messages per week. 5. I want to continue to get all of the reports we are currently getting. Don't block any of them. 6.
