This came to me on Sunday from Bob Olson, race director of the Hayward Lions Pre-Birkie. Ron The Hayward Lions PreBirkie has changed its Race start from Lake Hayward to Telemark Lodge in Cable. The race proceeds then to the finish at OO in Seely. The race will start at 11:00 am to give those arriving late in Hayward a little more time to get to start area. Registration on Friday the 8th along with the spaghetti feed will be as usual at the Moose Lodge in Hayward, however race day registration will move to Telemark Lodge in Cable. Registration at Telemark on race day will start at 8:00 am. Pre-Birkie finishers will be bussed back to Telemark from the finish at 00 in Seely. We will also have a couple of buses at the Moose Lodge on Beal Ave.in Hayward to Bus skiers up to Telemark in the event that they were dropped" off at the moose and need a ride to start area.However space will be limited so we encourage all skiers to go directly to Telemark. The awards ceremony will also be at Telemark Lodge. The trail is in great shape! with fresh snow! Hope to see you all at the Hayward Lions PRE-BIRKIE! Its going to be a great time! |
