We plan to hold the second race of the year Tuesday night. A First-Time 2.75K race will begin at 6:50 PM with the main race at 7:05. Registration will be in the Elver shelter from 5:45-6:45. We will use a wave-start of ten skiers each, based on bib number, if we have more than 40 racers. Wave interval will be determined based on the total number of racers.
Volunteers are again needed to help with registration and timing, and to guide racers on the course (dress warmly)and pickup course markers after the race. Free, transferrable race certificates for future races will be provided to volunteers. Just like the Olympics, we will have a demonstration "sport". Joe King etal will be doing a Ski-Bike-Ski biathlon Tuesday night, with the final ski leg over the Elver 5K course. They will be coming through just before the start of the main race.
