We will hold two races at Elver tonight on an abbreviated course. A 5K Freestyle Race and a 4 X 1.75K Relay will begin concurrently at 7 PM using a self seeded, mass start.
Skiers can organize their own 4-person teams, or we can connect you with other skiers. There will be no gender or age classifications for the relay. The 5K Freestyle Race will have both age and gender classifications and will involve three laps of the "1.75K" course. There are NO classical tracks. Registration will be in the park shelter from 5:45 - 6:45 PM. Race fees will be a flat $5 for adults and $3 for students regardless of which race you choose. The course has numerous icy sections. Rock skis are recommended and skiers should pre-ski the course to familiarize yourself with any problem areas. Caution is strongly advised. Course lights will remain on until 8 PM only.
