This info came to me from the Birkie office: The Birkie will officially be shortened to 25km and finish at OO. No attempts will be made to extend it beyond that point.
The Kortelopet will follow the same course as the Birkie and finish at OO due to the difficulty in salvaging and preparing at least one course. With temperatures in the 40s and light rain persisting conditions continue to deteriorate. There is a chance for rain turning to snow on Tuesday afternoon, but given the unpredictability of the weather patterns, nothing is certain.
