I met many of you at the Nordic Rendezvous at Telemark this past January. Hope you all had a good Birkie. I skied it classic with my waxless Fischer racing Crowns and had a great fun. I used Fast Wax Bronze with Fast Wax Flight over the top and a course rill job. I had very good glide the whole way through and was able to kick and glide past many skaters going up the hills. That was until my energy reserves were gone due to a lack of training in this fickle winter. I'm leaving Sunday for Switzerland with our club (27 people) to ski the Engadin. Our board recently approved two trips for next year, already. Ski Stokely Creek, Canada March 1-8, 2003.....around $800 and Ski Norway, Lillehammer, Sjoesjen area March 5-16, 2003.......around $1650 Hey, if any of you are interested in the above trips, let me know. We'll start taking deposits in late April. I enjoyed the link that Scott Bachmeier sent me of the photos from the Olympics. Thanks Scott for doing a great job keeping us posted with "weather for skiers". That's all for now......
