Snow & Trail Conditions at The Telemark Lodge New Snow: dusting Surface snow: 12 - 20 inches KM Open: 43 KM Trackset: 43 KM Skate Groomed: 43 KM Hours: 9 am to 4 pm Approximately 43 KM of the Telemark/North End/Kortelopet 65 KM trail system are open for skating and classic skiing. This includes the Birkebeiner Loops, Tony Wise Trail, John Bauer Trail (to Kortelopet split), Kortelopet Trail, 4 KM of the Sven Wiik World Cup, the World Cup Roller Coaster, Bill Koch Trail, Berard Connection, and all North End Trail loops. The Birkebeiner Loops, John Bauer and inbound Kortelopet trails were groomed Thursday morning. The Tony Wise, Birkie 4 & 5 KM loops, World Cup, Bill Koch and the North End Trail loops were groomed Friday. Trails and tracks are in excellent condition. Telemark trails will remain open at least through next weekend. The Hytte recreation center is closed. Trail passes can be purchased in the lodge at the Front Desk. The Tubing Slope and Snowboarding Slope are closed. The Snowshoe Trails are open. |
