Joe, I think you've stumbled across something that could 
really catch on here. How about if someone comes up with 
a XC ski pole that can actually shoot arrows. Then you 
could maintain control on those hairpin turns and then 
raise your pole to kill a "mad" deer! (-;

Well, at least it is comforting to know that only bow 
hunting is allow, as ridiculous as even that sounds. 
Comforting because much of the border of the park 
connects with residential property in Mount Horeb, and 
the thought of guns going off so close to homes could not
possibly go over very well.

I can see it now, Joe, that you will have to change the
cross-country story "Making tracks at Stewart Park" to
read something like "Dragging carcass at Stewart Park."
