The Hoofer sale is usually the first week of
December. The Tyrol Basin ski patrol has a sale in October, check
Tyrol's website for details. I had heard that the Y sale hasn't been
very good (more skates less skis), I think that it is in
November.

I'm looking for some
downhill equipment for my kids. If we have another dismal snowfall this
winter, I think we'll be spending a lot time at Tyrol Basin. Would also be
interested in getting them some good XC gear and I assume there will be an
opportunity at one of the Madnorski meetings.
