Dear club members, our annual pick and shovel
party at Blue Mounds State Park will be held this Sunday and Sunday, Oct. 5 th
and 6th from 9 am to 1 pm each day. We have some culverts! to put in and some
trail rocks to rake out in the Pleasure Valley Loop. Meet at the park shop
which is just to the right of the park office. If you are late, ask any
park employee to locate Carl Heil by radio and he will tell them where we are
working. Bring gloves, and work clothes, the culvert work is an intimate
encounter with soil and rock. Tools will be provided, and some drinks and
snacks. come one or both days. For info, call Willi at 437-3782 or the Park at
