I'd like to put out a plea for any old three-pin classic equipment anyone
might be looking to find a use for. The MacKenzie Environmental Center,
located near Poynette, has school groups on overnight field trips all
winter. One of the highlights of this field trip is the chance to try
cross-country skiing- for most students it's their first experience with the
sport. Unfortunately, it's often a very frustrating experience, as the
equipment is in very bad shape- shoes are falling apart or too big, poles
are way too long, etc.. So, if anyone has anything to donate- poles, boots,
waxless skiis- please bring them to the meeting tonight. I'll see if
MacKenzie can provide a receipt for tax deduction purposes. If you don't
know me, ask anyone in the Russian Ski School to point me out.

                        Thanks!
