No snow yet. We have great ice for ice skating (on the lake). 2-3" of snow forecast for Saturday. That won't be enough to set a track but might be enough to ski on. We have repaired our trails using gravel on different spots on all of our ski trails and you may ski through to the gravel if we only get 2-3". If you have a pair of skis you use for marginal snow conditions that you don't care about, you could probably ski on 2-3 " here. I wouldn't want you to damage your equipment due to a poor recommendation on my part. If skiing on the lake, stay away from the dam and associated spillway.
On the brighter side, the ground is firmly frozen so any snow that comes should stay and not melt from ground radiation anyway. > ---------- > From: The XC Mailing List[SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Friday, January 03, 2003 7:30 AM > To: Arthur, John J. > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Conditions at Governor Dodge State Park > > Hi John, > > This is a reminder to send a condition report to MadNorSki.
