New Snow: 0
Groomed: 1/3/03
Conditions: Good
Base/Trails: 2-5 "
Base/Woods: 5 "
Snowshoe Trails: Yes
Comments We have a thin hard base that is skiable with no bare spots on the main trails. We have dug up a few spots with the groomer that left some brown spots and leaves. The base is holding up well, but we need new snow to put conditions back to very good. PLEASE NOTE: We are rating our conditions on actual snow surfaces and not basing them on the lack of other skiing options available. We are also not trying to trick you or lure you up North to fill our lodging. The conditions this morning were good and they got icy again in the afternoon after teh texture got skied out. We have a 2-5 inch base and it is hard packed. We have been grooming every day and we will be back out in the morning. We plan to take out our small power tiller to groom up for the weekend. We plan to reset some of the classic tracks along the skate lanes Friday night with the tilling operation as well. Some ice and some thin spots, which may change with the new snow.
