SNOW REPORT - TELEMARK RESORT - CABLE - WISCONSIN - www.telemarkresort.com Thursday, January 9, 2003 Ski Conditions: Good to excellent. Good to excellent classic track. Grooming: 2.8 kilometers groomed for skating and classic. Trails Open: XC Fever Trail 2.8 kilometers. The connector to and the snowcross loop are closed today to prepare for The 24 Hours of Telemark NOTE: The XC Fever Trail and snowcross loop will be closed for The 24 Hours of Telemark all day Saturday, Jan. 11 and until 11 am on Sunday the 12th. It is possible to enter the 3 & 6 hour categories of the race until 9 am on Saturday. Very good to excellent conditions are anticipated throughout the course. Packed Snow Depth: 4 to 10 inches. Trail Passes: Buy daily or annual trail passes at the Hytte (near west end of lodge) $9 daily. New Snow: 2 inches Forecast: Currently snowing steadily. Predicted to end early this afternoon. Good snowmaking nights predicted for all of the next ten days. Snow is predicted for five of those days. Very cold temperatures are anticipated for the weekend. Tubing Hill: Open, Sunday thru Thursday, 1 pm to 7 pm, Friday & Saturday, 9 am to 8 pm. Snowboarding Hill: Snowmaking is nearing completion. Projected opening date is Tuesday, January 14. Snowshoe Trails: Awaiting snow. Ski Trail Hours: 9 am to 4 pm daily. The XC Fever Trail will open at 11 am today to allow use to groom additional trail for The 24 Hours of Telemark. Skiers will be able to ski the XC Fever portion of the course today and Friday as it will be run during the race.
