Here's 2 reminders:
1. MNSC meeting, Monday, Feb 10th, 6:30 p.m. at Rocky Rococcos WEST, Mineral Pt. Rd at the Beltline.
2. The MadNorSki Juniors will be checking "pockets" for $5; your camber and wax pockets that is. This will determine whether your skis fit and function well for you.
We will determine:
-----How much of your body weight it takes to fully compress your skis.
-----We'll mark your classical kick wax pocket and show you where to keep your wax job ultra thin.
-----We'll give you recommendations on what snow conditions your ski will be good in.
-----And if there's time, we'll make a graph for you showing you how smoothly your skis close as they are compressed.
Quite a lot of service for just $5.00! All proceeds will go to the Juniors Fund.
So bring your skis (with the grip wax cleaned off) and your wallet and we'll test 'em during the meeting. So next time on snow, we'll have you FLYING!
Just need a clarification Don - is the pocket checking only for
diagonal skis or is that service useful for skate skis as well?
