yinle> Hi John,
yinle> Attached is a new yaboot rpm package built on RedHat
    yinle> 5.5. I have tested it in both RH5.5 and RH6.
yinle> Please try to see if it works in your machine.

I can provide only a partial answer that question, since we
don't actually have any powerpc nodes that would need yaboot to
boot.

What certainly does work for us is that, after installing your new
yaboot-xcat package, the yum command is now satisfied
that the xCAT package has has its yaboot-xcat dependency met
with the newest release of yaboot-xcat available. So my problem
is solved. Thank you very much.

But I can't tell you if the /tftpboot/yaboot within the rpm
actually works properly, since I have no node to test that with.

(I did have to add the "--nogpgcheck" to convince yum to
install your trial rpm. I'm pretty sure that gpgcheck is enabled
in your distributed xCAT-dep.repo file, so you'll likely have
to ensure that the package is signed before you send it for
general distribution, but you probably know that already.)

Thanks again for your prompt attention,
